Magpie Glitter, Magpie Dust, Chromes, Flakes & Magpie Pigment are sold by weight, and not by a 'full jar'. Due to all products having different weight to volume, products may arrive looking at different levels in their jars. 

Product descriptions include weight of product and a note if the jar will not come full.

For Example: 

1g product 

** Please note this product is packaged in a 4g jar. The jar will NOT be full when you receive it** 

In order to offer our customers more options when shopping, we have partnered with Magpie Beauty USA in a Drop-Ship Program.

The Magpie Gel Polish collection is HEMA FREE, except for:

• All About the Base which contains less than 1% HEMA
• Rubber Up base which contains less than 1% HEMA
• Get Foiled which contains less than 5% HEMA
• Full Foiled which contains less than 5% HEMA
• Velvet Top which contains less than 5% HEMA

Apply ARTYgel THIN to WIN! A thin layer of gel paint is all that is needed to get a fully pigmented outcome. The formulation of this product is highly pigmented, applying too thick will lead to uncured product and possibly service breakdown.

NATURAL NAIL | FULL COVERAGE

Apply THIN TO WIN on top of your base layer. We recommend 1-2 layers applied with a gel brush. The first layer soaking into the tacky layer of your base may not be 100% tack free. Apply another thin second layer of your ARTYgel for a tack free finish. For extra protection we recommend to finish with a layer of top coat. TIP: Stir the product before full nail coverage, this wakes up the ingredients and allows the product to flow easier. For detailed work you may prefer the product to be more firm, if so do not stir before application. For best application results we recommend applying over a buffed or cleansed surface (using Magpie PREP & DEHYDRATE) of structure gel or builder gel.

APPLYING ONTO STRENGTHENED MANICURES

Before applying remove the tacky layer from your strengthening or structure product with Magpie PREP & DEHYDRATE. To help adhesion we recommend buffing the shine from any surface with a 240 buffer before application. Dust and wipe with Magpie PREP & DEHYDRATE before applying your Magpie ARTYgel, remember THIN TO WIN!

Magpie ARTYgel colours have been formulated with perfect consistency which does not run, it enables you to control easily and around the cuticle for a close on point application for full nail coverage and intricate artwork for maximum jaw dropping effects.

ART WITH ARTYgel

Detail always needs to be applied thinly. You can flash cure to set your design and continue with more detail. Always finish your masterpiece with a final full cure of 60 seconds LED LAMP.

DETAILED CHROME

•Apply a layer of clear GIVE ME STRENGTH over the entire nail. 

•Once cured cleanse thoroughly with Magpie PREP & DEHYDRATE. Double cleanse with PREP & DEHYDRATE to ensure all the tacky layer is fully removed.

•Paint your design in your chosen Magpie ARTYgel colour.

•Cure for 30 seconds LED LAMP

•Using a chrome applicator or silicone tool add a small amount of chrome dust and work into your design. Little goes a long way!

•Dust any excess away with your Magpie Soft Duster Brush.

•Finish the cure for a further 30seconds.

•For design on the tip of the nail gently file the free edge of the nail with a 240 zebra or file.

•Dust the nail again, add a layer of GIVE ME STRENGTH. Remember to cap the free edge.

•Cure and finish with your chosen top coat.

Application technique 1:

1. Dab the loose glitter onto the tacky layer of your Magpie gel with the Magpie Applicator Brush.
2. Cure the glitter onto the gel for 10-20 seconds in the Magpie LED lamp.
3. Gently brush away the excess glitter with the Magpie Duster Brush.
4. Apply a layer of Magpie Give Me Strength over the glitter, allowing the gel to settle and cure for 60 seconds.
5. Apply a layer of Magpie Top It Off and cure to a high shine for 60 seconds.

Application technique 2:

1. Mix with Magpie Give Me Strength (clear) to create a glitter gel. The ratio of gel to glitter can be 1:1 or 1:2 depending on how opaque the final result needs to be.
2. Apply the prepared glitter gel with the Magpie Silicone Tool or the Magpie Teal Detailer brush, being sure to smooth out any glitter that may be uneven.
3. Cure for 60 seconds.
4. Apply a layer of Top It Off and cure to a high shine for 60 seconds.

PRO TIP: Magpie Glitters can also be mixed with acrygel or acrylic powder for enhancements. 

Application technique 1:

1. Mix with Magpie Give Me Strength (clear) to create a glitter gel. The ratio of gel to glitter can be 1:1 or 1:2 depending on how opaque the final result needs to be.
2. Apply the prepared glitter gel with the Magpie Silicone Tool or the Magpie Teal Detailer brush, being sure to smooth out any glitter that may be uneven.
3. Cure for 60 seconds.
4. Apply a layer of Top It Off and cure to a high shine for 60 seconds.

Application technique 2:

1. Pour chunky glitter onto an UNCURED layer of gel, making sure the big pieces of glitter are laying flat and then cure twice in the Magpie LED lamp.
2. Apply a thin layer of Magpie Give Me Strength to help even out the enhancement and cure for 60 seconds. If needed, remove the inhibition layer and gently file the top of the cured gel to smooth out any rough pieces of glitter sticking up.
3. Apply a layer of Magpie Top It Off and cure to a high shine for 60 seconds.

Application technique 3: To achieve a glitter fade

1. Dab the glitter onto the tacky layer of gel using your Magpie applicator brush and cure the 'glitter' onto the gel for 30 seconds in the Magpie LED lamp. This will help adhere the larger pieces of glitter to the gel.
2. Apply a layer of Magpie Give Me Strength, allowing the gel to settle on the glitter and cure for 60 seconds. If needed, remove the inhibition layer and gently file the top of the cured gel to smooth our any rough pieces of glitter sticking up.
3. Apply a layer of Magpie Top It Off and cure to a high shine for 60 seconds.

PRO TIP: Magpie Glitters can also be mixed with acrygel or acrylic powder for enhancements. 

1. Sprinkle sugaring glitter onto an uncured layer of Top It Off or a Magpie Gel Paint.
2. Cure the gel fully for 60-90 seconds in a LED lamp.
3. Brush off the excess with the Magpie Duster Brush.
4. DO NOT TOP COAT.

Nail Art Stickers are a fun and easy way to add design to your manicure!

Self Adhesive Stickers

1. Remove the inhibition layer from your gel color.
2. Pick up the sticker with a pair of tweezers.
3. Trim the sticker if necessary.
4. Apply the sticker to your manicure, making sure not to have it right on the edge of the nail.
5. Make sure the entire sticker is adhered to the nail.
6. Apply your favorite Magpie top coat, being sure to cover the entire area of the sticker to ensure it won't peel up. Cure for 60 seconds in a LED lamp.

Magpie Metal Slices are an easy addition to any nail design!

They can be paired with stamps or hand painted nail art to bring to life a one of a kind design. These slices bend easily with the Magpie Slice Shaper or by putting the shape onto a soft towel and rolling the end of a nail art brush over the shape to create a curve. 

Magpie Slices encapsulate easily in a layer of:

• Magpie Give Me Strength
• Build Me Up Gel
• Magpie Acrylic

Magpie shapes are a fun way to add to a nail art design. These plastic shapes don't bend easily, but can be encapsulated in Magpie Give Me Strength without adding bulk. 

1. Add a layer of Magpie Give Me Strength to a cured color layer of Magpie gel. DO NOT CURE.
2. Lay the chosen shapes into the uncured gel. When you are happy with the design, cure for 60 seconds in a LED lamp.
3. Add another layer of Magpie Give Me Strength and manipulate the gel to encapsulate the shapes and make a level surface. Once you are happy with the gel application, cure for 60 seconds in a LED lamp. 
4. Finish the nail with a layer of Magpie Top It Off and cure for 60 seconds in a LED lamp.

PRO TIPS: Shells can be applied in the same manner. These can also be encapsulated in Magpie Acrylic.
